What is a Non-DOT Drug Test? A Non-DOT drug test is a drug test given to a worker in an industry that’s not regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). Non-DOT drug test consists of either a 5-drug panel or a 10-drug panel and are dictated by each individual employer. DOT and Non-DOT drug tests both require chain-of-custody forms (CCF). The drugs tested in a 5 Panel drug test are as follows: Amphetamines (Methamphetamines is included) Cocaine Marijuana Opiates Phencyclidine (PCP) The drugs tested in a 10 Panel drug test are as follows: Includes 5 panel drugs plus: Barbiturates Benzodiazepines Methadone Methaqualone Propoxyphene REASONS FOR NON DOT DRUG TESTING: Pre-Employment Random Reasonable Suspicion Post Accident Return to Duty Follow Up
